Hello All my Craftastic Friends,
Well today is Monday and that means its time for another Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge.
I saw alot of adorable projects that were done for last weeks challenge using Graphically Speaking. I want to thank each and every single one of you for joining our challenge. You Rock!
So we put up a poll where all of you could vote for this weeks cartridge to be used. And with 116 votes, Mini Monsters won the battle.
This week you can find the Mr.Linky, the winner from last week, and the Poll for next weeks cartridge over at my friend Paulas. You can go to her blog by clicking HERE!
Now for my project, I wanted to make my Mini Monster a LUV Monster. I instantly want to say Care Bear Stare, when I look at her, but shes far from a Care Bear. For my card base I used Birthday Bash (love the card features on this one). The monster is of course from Mini Monster, Martha Stewart Bakers Twine that Paula sent me for Christmas. Kraft Cardstock, K&Company pattern paper from there Valentines stack, and the cute little heart in the middle of her belly is a Imagine stock image. Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps "The Charmed Life". You can see a complete list of all there current stamps by clicking HERE!
Now if your coming here from PINK CRICUT to see these cards I made, YAY you found them. Sarah pretty much said everything I have to say now. I went to Michaels to get some 12x12 Kraft paper, and of course they always stick all the Cricut Cartridges right by the door so I can drool. I saw that they had a Sesame Street Cartridge for 9.99, So I grabbed that up in hurry. When I looked below in the basket, low in behold what did my eyes see? But 3 Cartridges that I knew were not supposed to be out yet. Or maybe they are, who knows? But ProvoCraft please don't hate me If I spoil your release. Yes they had Florals Embellished, All Sports, and Formal Occasion. I originally had all three in my hands, but Sarah actually said NO that she didnt All Sports yet. And that cartridge really isnt my cup of tea yet. I think she would have but it was 44.00 and who really wants to pay that price. But I sure did LOL. I had to have those 2 glorious cartridges in my hot sweaty hands :) They also had A Groovy Times cartridge in the bin but I just won one of those off ebay so I shrugged my shoulders and went about my shopping. I want to let you know, I could not use these on my Imagine or Gypsy. Nor could I enter in the rewards points. When I checked out I asked about the 9.99 cartridges. The lady (asst mngr) told me that they will be putting out various cartridges all week for that price to give everyone a fair shot. She said all Michaels are supposed to do so. So if you didn't get any yet, looks like you still may have a chance. And you may have a chance to find the other cartridges as well! Score if you do. Or maybe you will wait, which in all honesty is what I should have done :)
I wanted to post 2 cards today made with each of the cartridges. The Floral cartridge has alot, and mostly Mothers Day phrases inside so Im thinking its meant for Mothers Day. And of course the Formal Occasion is perfect for anyone who has kids. Its all about dances, Sadie Hawkins, Prom, Winter Court, and so on. So without further ado, Here are two quick cards made with the cartridges.
Floral Embellished
Pink By Design "Jump n Jive" Stamp set.
And Formal Occasion.
Pink By Design "Oh Boy" Stamp set.
