Wacky Wednesday at More Than Favors

Hello Friends,

This week over at More Than Favors with Paula, She is hosting her bi-weekly challenge. These challenges are super fun, and she has awesome prizes.

This week the challenge is Birthday themed. Now this can be a card, a altered item, anything birthday related. Here is my design team project for inspiration.

I got the card shape from the Silhouette store, as well as the birthday hat, and sentiment tag.  Sentiment is from Pink By Designs " Birthday, Birthday " stamp set. I added some stickles to the stars on the hat so it would match the card stock. Designer card stock is MME " Party time " stack. Perfect for Birthday's!  The hat looked bare at the bottom so I added some Divine Twine and bling to the sentiment tag.

I hope you will join us this week over at More Than Favors. I can't wait to see all your projects! Have a great Wednesday friends.

Little Prince Blog Hop

Hello Friends,

Welcome to the Little Prince Blog Hop, we're celebrating Jessica's little prince's 2nd birthday with a 3 day hop! Happy Birthday Mason!
There is a lot of boy themed projects and blog candy along the way so make sure you stop and visit every blog along the 3 day hop.

If you have arrived here from Julie's Blog :http://3girljam.blogspot.com/
then you are in the right spot. But if you stumbled upon my post and would like to start from the beginning, then head on over to Jessica's blog.

I went pretty simple on my boy projects, I had a card that matched the baby booties, but misplaced it somewhere in my crafty corner. So I made a adorable paper car to take it's place.

I bought the file for these ADORABLE baby shoes from the Silhouette store. They are pretty easy to assemble, and are perfect for baby shower gifts and or treat holders. With as many people as I know having baby's I thought this file would come in handy for years to come.  Dressing up these little shoes was a bit of a struggle as I do not have much boy embellishments. I went ahead and added my own seam binding for the shoe strings, and I am Roses in blue and white for a simple finishing touch. The white trim for the sole of shoe I purchased at Joanne's.  Designer paper is MME " Follow your Heart ".

For my second project I wanted to make something that would be appropriate for a 2 year old birthday party. This car is actually a favor box.

I also purchased this car favor box from Silhouette store. It was pretty easy to assemble and fun to embellish. I ran the tires through my Tim Holtz embossing folder Retro Circles, then added the cute little screw brads. I applied glossy accents to the windows, then sprinkled Martha Stewart Course glitter to finish them off. The lights and licence plate are just plain card stock stickled up. I went around the edges of the car with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink. Designer paper is from MME Party time stack.  These little cars hold Hershey nuggets and a whole array of different candies.

So those are my projects, something for a baby prince, and something for a toddler prince.
