Thanks A Bunch

Hello Friends,

As promised I have two posts for you today. Like I said before I can't seem to remember what day is which and when I need to post. Blame those pregnancy hormones.  Today's post is a feature that we have over at the Pink By Design blog. Every Wednesday we share a trick or tip with you. There have been lots of good ones so be sure to come by and take a look. This week our tip was how to rumple your ribbon. Now I'm not going to share all the details with you here, because I want you to stop by Pink By Design blog so you can see Paula and Gloria's projects using this tip. But here is my card using the rumple ribbon tip.

For this card I used designer paper from MME " Alphabet Soup " , I used my 1 inch punch to create the flowers. The twine is a mix of Divine twine and Trendy Twine. To get the stems of my flowers to stay I used Scotch quick dry. Sentiment is from Pink By Design March 2011 Stamp of the Month " Grow ". Ribbon and Buttons are from my stash.

So come on over to the Pink By Design blog and take a look at the other creations. If you use this tip we would love to see your projects. You can post them on the Pink By Design Facebook page.

Pink By Design Challenge: Spring

Hello Friends,

Seems I have fallen a little behind on my postings..So I have two to share with you today. And I'll have another one for ya'll tomorrow. So first of all, I want to show you a card I made for the challenge going on at the Pink By Design blog. This week the challenge is anything Spring related. For example...flowers, birds, bee's, Easter, rain if you live in the pacific northwest :)

For me, seeing all the baby sheep, and baby farm animals being born is Spring. So I created this cute little sheep tag.

For this tag I found a journal shape from the Silhouette store and just layered it 3 times, to give it more dimension.

Sheep shape is from the Silhouette store as well, I embossed his wool using the Tim Holtz swirlz embossing folder. I applied glossy accents to the swirlz and then sprinkled glitter. He shimmers! Designer paper is Websters Pages and the bling is from Recollections. Seam binding is my own. Sentiment is from Pink By Design " Hoppy Easter ", a button and divine twine finish this little tag off.

I hope that you will join us this week for this challenge, there is even a prize up for grabs :) You can either go to the Pink By Design Blog, or link up your spring projects here! Have a Fab day Friends.

Lucky Me Southwest Card

Hello Friends,

Today I wanted to share a quick card I made for Wacky Wednesday over at More Than Favors. The challenge is " Something Green ". You're project can be anything, as long as it has something green on it. Pretty simple right? So head on over to More Than Favors and join the challenge.

I am also entering this card into the Cricut Southwest Designer Contest. I think this cartridge is my new favorite. I love the Southwest, and anything Western. I can see many home decor projects being made with this cartridge. I decided to make a SW card to give to my horsey friend, who is letting me lease her horse with option to buy. We are pretty lucky to have the option of buying this amazing horse for my daughter. The county in which I live decided to bring back 4-H YAHOO!!!!!! I think this is a great program and it teaches our children so much! So her horsey Lennox is going to be in 4-H with her. All thanks to our amazing friend. Jolene has been taking riding lessons for over 5 years now in Hunt seat, she has shown dedication and promise. It's not just a faze with her, so I think it's time for her own horse.

Here is my card, and you can find the directions to it in the Cricut Project Center.

Products used:
Cricut Cartridge Southwest
Cosmo Cricket Wanted Paper Stack
Cricut Cartridge Art Philosophy
Cuttlebug Folder from Oriental Weave set

Here is my daughter on Lennox. He has not been riden in over a year, so we're working on getting him back in tip top condition.

Alright my friends, I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday and please do not forget about the challenge going on over at More Than Favors! Have a great day!

Pink By Design Sneak Peek

Hello Friends,

This week over at the Pink By Design blog I am featuring 3 sneak peeks I have made. Now I have already shown you one of the peeks, and today I am going to show you the other two!

Also...

There’s a new challenge this week to celebrate the Pink By Design release on Friday March 15, 2013. Link up a project with any theme that uses Pink By Design Stamps. If you don’t have PBD there is a digital freebie this week HERE. Also don’t forget to join us for a fun blog hop next Friday!

Here are my two new sneak peeks.

For this tag I used the same soon to be released, Pink By Design Half Pint set called Easter Grams. Tag shape is from the Silhouette online store, and the paper is from We R Memory Keepers ” Peep ” stack. The sentiment banner featured here is from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons graphic and svg store. The rabbit is from Cricut cartridge Folk Art. I covered the bunny in Martha Stewart course glitter. Trendy twine and my own seam binding help complete this adorable tag.

And last but not least, I am sneaking this awesome new soon to released Pink By Design Half Pint stamp set called Blog Love. This stamp set paired up nicely with September’s SOTM set Fresh Goodies. Made for a cute clean and simple 4×4 card that I can throw in a box of Blog Goodies to send to a friend. The paper is by MME Be Loved.

I hope you have enjoyed these sneak peeks. And be sure to keep checking back, I have some ideas I have been playing with and I can't wait to share them with you! Have a wonderful Thursday my friends.

Pink By Design Sneak

Happy Hump Day Friends,

Today I have a cute little sneak for you of a new stamp set that will be released by Pink By Design! Sarah has really outdone herself with this release, there is something for everyone.

For this sneak I used a label shape from the Silhouette store and just made 3 duplicate images for the layers of the tag. Those cute little bird bunnies are from Cricut cartridge 3 Birds on Parade, and the sentiment tag is from Cricut cartridge Sentimentals. That's right my friends, I am mixing and matching my Silhouette and Cricut die-cuts! :)

Paper is from We R Memory Keepers " Peep " stack. Bling is from Recollections.  I went around the edges of all die-cuts with Tim Holtz distress ink in Vintage Photo. I even added a little course glitter to the inside of those little birdies ears. The awesome sentiment is a Sneak of a new stamp set being released next week!

Be sure to watch the Pink By Design facebook page and Design Team Blog for more sneaks!  Oh, and here too!

Have a great day my friends,
