Two Scraptastic Girls are so happy that Melanie and Tammy asked us to be guest designers on this blog hop, I hope you all enjoyed your previous hop over at Meighens Blog! We sure hope you like the projects we have in store for you!
Today Wendi and I have 2 projects each featuring the Scrappy Moms Stamps. One that is Halloween Themed and one that is just for everyday use. These stamps are so versitile. So up first is Wendi.
I wish to be a Fish!
For this layout Wendi used Cosmo Cricut "Snorkel" paper, along with Bazzill cardstock. She also used Mrs. Grossman's Bubble stickers. Wendi also used the "Fishing you a great day" from the Scrappy Moms "Amusing Animal" stamp set with some Studio G ink.
New Treats
For this layout Wendi used DCWV Halloween/Fall paper stack along with some Karen Foster stickers. She also used some American Crafts alpha thickers. Bazzil cardstock also was used.
Wendi stamped " I want Candy" from the Scrappy Moms " A Haunting we will Go" stamp set. Studio G ink.
These stamps are real versitile.
Now on to the cards by Meriah.
Mummy!
For this project I cut out a circle card on the expression using "Wild Card". I also cut strips of Burlap from JoAnns and sprayed them with some Tattered Angels glimmer mist(sand). I layered the strips on the mummy and cut out some eyeball slits and stamped a sentiment from Scrappy Moms "A Haunting we will Go stamp set".
I used some Frayed Burlap Distress ink for the sentiment.
I had alot of fun making this Mummy and I decided I'm going to frame it and use it every year for Halloween decorations!
Summer Breeze
Ah Yes, My favorite project I did for this hop. I have been wanting to play around using real fabric with the expression. I must admit I was a little scared! But its actually really easy. Pick out your fabric, buy some "Ultra Hold Heat n Bond", apply it to your fabric. Place fabric bond side down on your mat and cut away. I made sure to set the pressure to high and speed at slow. Love using fabric! I used the Country Life cartridge for the clothesline.
I used Tim Holtz embossing folder "Woodgrains" for the clothesline posts and dabbed some Frayed Burlap ink on them for that little added feature. I used Scrappy Moms "Just dropping you a Line" from the "Amusing Animal" stamp set!
Now the Giveaway!
A Pumpkin Carving Cricut Cartridge....This is great for making cards!
