Imagine-Nation Mondays at Pink Cricut!

Hi Friends,
I’m so happy that Sarah asked me to be a guest designer for her and Emma’s Imagine-Nation Monday. This is truly a great way for us to all learn more creative things to make with our Imagines. The Imagine Nation challenge is currently to make a project with a stamped image and Imagine cuts.

My project is a floral deco ball with Imagine More cartridge and Happy Hauntings. I used a charming little sentiment “Boo To You” from Pink By Design! I also used the stock image pumpkin that came preloaded on the Imagine. I just love how this turned out, even if I ran out of purple flowers half way through the project. I hope this inspires us all to think outside the box. With the Imagine, all things are possible!

Recipe:
Silk Flowers in Orange,Purple,Black
Stock Imagine Cuts, Imagine More and Happy Hauntings Cartridges
Stickles
Pink By Design “Boo To You” from Simply Everything Stamp Set
Martha Stewart spider punch
Foam Ball
Ribbon-Michaels Butterfly-Michaels and Skewer Sticks.

Go see Sarah at Pink Cricut.com   She did a terrific creation for Imagine-Nation Monday!

Have a wonderful day my friends,
Meriah

Weekly Circle Challenge #2: THINK PINK!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month we wanted to do an ultra girly challenge to celebrate the strength of girls. Create a project of your choice (card, scrapbook page, home decor project, . . . the sky’s the limit!). Project must be newly created for this challenge and must include atleast 2 cuts to qualify.

I used a scalloped frame image off of Imagine More cartridge, and the word phrase Hope off of  Give a Hoot! Buttons, flowers, pearls, a heart gem, and stickles on the phrase.

I do not have anyone in my life that has been affected by this terrible disease, I know thats a good thing. But One of my best friends Grandma passed away a little over a year ago from Breast Cancer. MaryJane was one of the kindest, most honest, wonderful christian woman I have ever had the privlidge of knowing! She was like a grandma to me and to my children. I do feel the world lost a beautiful soul the day breast cancer took her life. I made this frame for my friend and for this challenge. I will always think of her, and all our memories. We love and miss you MaryJane.

Momo's Birthday Bash Blog Hop!

Welcome Everyone to Momo's Birthday Bash Blog Hop!
You should have started off at Momo's Blog, but if you havent, dont forget to do so after you are done here.

First of all Wendi and I want to wish our dear sweet friend Momo a Very Happy Birthday! Speaking for myself, I cannot begin to tell everyone what a inspiration Momo has been to me! And Wendi and I feel so honored that Momo has asked us to take part in the Celebration of Day of Birth, and to be featured with such a creative bunch of women!  Happy Birthday Momo! We love you! <3!!!

So for this Blog hop Wendi made the cutest layout for when we celebrated her 33rd Birthday! I wasnt going to tell you how old miss Wendi was, but I forgot its in the "about me" of our blog, and Its in plain sight on her layout lol. Usually Wendi and I both agree when we say a woman never tells her age :)...You will have to forgive me, I forgot to get all of Wendi's layout details when I picked it up this morning. But never the less, Here is a photo of her Birthday Layout.

I made a card for Momo, I still need to get it out in the mail, Shhhhhh lol. I'll never forget when Momo's Birthday is cause its also the birthday of my darling daughter Jolene. Yes Sunday, my little girl will be 11! So hard to believe!  For Momo's card I wanted to try something a little different. So I cut out 2 in squares and added some cute little cutouts(all made on my imagine) from Simply Charmed. I used a Scrappy Moms Sentiment in the middle. The paper is by My Minds Eye (Quite Contrary) I thought it looked like little cupcakes!

So in the true spirit of Birthdays, Im going to give one lucky person a present! Not only is it in honor of our wonderful friend Momo, But also a reminder for all of us to think Pink in October! Sunday my family and I will be thinking Purple as we go do our annual Alzheimer's Association Memory walk. Both my DH and I have had grandpa's that had this tragic disease!  So think Pink and Purple! There is no specific order for the blog hop, just make sure you try to go visit each and everyone one of us. Ill leave the links at the bottom of the post!

Just become a follower, leave a comment, and way to contact you if you win. I will be using random.org. Winner will be chosen on Monday. Next up is Molly's , where Im sure she has an excellent project in store for you!  Have a great day. Dont forget to head over to Momos Blog and wish her a Happy Birthday.

Cricut Circle Blog Weekly Challenge #1

Weekly Challenge #1: OOH, LA LA! FRENCH MANOR!

Pull out your FRENCH MANOR CARTRIDGE and create a project of your choice (card, scrapbook page, home decor project, . . . the sky’s the limit!). But here’s the catch, your project must also include JEWELS or PEARLS. Project must be newly created for this challenge and must include atleast 2 cuts to qualify.

So for this card, I pulled out the French Manor Cartridge and decided to use the bird, and the twigs, and underneath the bird is a beautiful lacey cut out. I distressed the whole card with Tim Holtz distress ink. Believe it or not I saved his HSN show on my dvr and watch it periodically for his blending techniques. I added a cute sentiment from Pink By Design Go Green Stamp Set. I added some pearls using some glossy accents, since the batteries in my I-rock are done. This was a great challenge and I really loved how this card came out.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #45 DT Inspiration card.

Our Challenge this week was make a card for Thanksgiving, using any cartridges or colors you’d like. So I used Simply Charmed (love this cartridge) some cardstock paper printed on the imagine, and a cute little sentiment from Scrappy Moms Simply Charmed stamp set. I added some I-rock gems, ribbon, and a cute little leaf. This is actually my second card for this challenge cause the first one I made for fall. Then when I went to send the fall card to Mary I saw that I had to make a card for Thanksgiving. Talk about Frantic. I whipped out this card in 10 min flat. I promise gals next challenge I will read the instructions right, so I can spend more time on my card. Heres the card that I made by mistake.

This card was made with Give a Hoot Cricut Cartridge, cardstock images printed on the Imagine, and sentiment from Scrappy Moms stamp set Simply Charmed.  I used the layer feature on the Imagine. Its alot like using your expresson. Actually its exactly the same except you dont have to put in a pattern piece of cardstock just a white piece of paper. I put both of these cards in a gift set Im making for my mother-in-law for Christams.
Thank you all for stopping by, and dont forget to enter your cards in CCC Blog! See you all there!
