Cricut Circle December Challenge
Howdy All My Crafty Friends,
I'm playing along with Cricut Circle Blog this month, and lets say they made a good challenge for the month of December. Here are there rules for this challenge:
•Use atleast 2 Cricut Cuts
•Use a tag made with a cartridge (there are so many great tags on so many cartridges!)
•Use the color red somewhere.
•Use ribbon.
•Use a phrase from one of the cartridges.
So my take on this challenge is the following:
I used Cricut Imagine Yummy for the bag cut out, Winter Frolic for the phrase Making Spirits Bright, and Birthday Bash for the tag. I also cached a pattern from Mr. Frosty for the bag. Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps Winter Frolic. I loved how this turned out. I had one last gift to give, so I stuck it in this bag. Better late then never right?
I used my Imagine for this whole project. I love that machine so much. Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to the Christmas Cheer Blog Hop!
Welcome to the Christmas Cheer Blog Hop!
If your just starting out on the hop make sure you go back and start on Paulas blog More than Favors.
I want to Thank Paula and Momo for asking to be part of this hop...Such an Honor. I truly love those gals!
So the theme of this hop is CHRISTMAS which is ONE day away! Not that you needed reminding.
My project today is a cute and easy paper and button tree! Along with a cute, darling, ornament that my dear sweet friend Sarah made me.
So all that is needed is a styrofoam cone, pins or sticky tape, glue dots, buttons, a pencil, and lots of 1x3 inch strips. I inked the edges to give it more of a rustic look. And rolled the ends of the paper on a pencil to get the ends to flip out. Over all, I'm very happy with the outcome.
Think about how cute this would look with the strips embossed with a cuttlebug, or maybe stamped with your favorite sentiment.
Im also putting up a really sweet card made with Scrappy Moms new stamp set Designers Choice. Be sure to stop by there blog as there having a real fun contest.
Todays blog candy is Peachy Keen Everyday Character Face Parts and More.
To Qualify all you need to do is leave a comment, become a follower, and leave a way for me to reach you if you win. Random.Org will choose the winner on Monday.
Happy Holidays Friends.
Meriah
Up next is my super great friend, Sarah at PinkCricut, Im sure your just gonna love her project.
Be sure to check out all the fab ladies projects on the hop. Here is the list. Happy Hopping.

Scrappy Moms "Designer's Choice" Sneak Peek #2
Hello Crafty Friends,
Are you ready for Christmas yet? I just finished up all my Christmas shopping. And every year I say I'm gonna start early, and never do. Yes I am a last minute kinda gal.
Here is my Sneak Peek #2 for Scrappy Moms Stamps newest release "Designers Choice".
And don't forget about the cute and fun give away that Melanie and Tammy are doing in honor of this cute new stamp set.
This is a very special set that was created by the Design Team members. We submitted sentiments that we love and thought that you would enjoy using in your papercrafting! Mel and Tammy thought it would be fun to have a little contest for all of you WONDERFUL followers! They are challenging you to guess which Design Team member submitted which sentiment...think you can do it? Email your guesses to us a scrappymom.stamps@gmail.com. Each of the members have at least one sentiment.
For this card I used my Imagine...We all know hou much I love that machine. I used 3 Birds on Parade and Life is a Beach for the treasure chest. Cricut Imagine cartridge Better Together for the pattern on the bird. It was Momo's idea to add the cute bling (treasure) to the chest. Im thankful for her suggestion cause it really made this card pop! I embossed the background paper with the Cuttlebug folder Coolio.
This card somehow got lost during the last sneak peek for Scrappy Moms Simple Sentiments. Better late then never right?
Cartridges used were Nifty Fifties and Shall we Dance. Both of these cards were made while skyping with Momo and Paula from More than Favors. So I'm giving them credit for helping me when I had crafters block.
So don't forget to head over Scrappy Moms Blog to see other cute projects used with the new stamp set, and email them with your guesses on which dt member came up with which sentiment. Im still trying to figure this out :)
Have a great day!

Getting Ready For Christmas.
Well It's that time of the year when we all start running around like chickens with our heads cut off. I've seen that, and yes, that is exactly what I look like. Arms flapping and all :)
Christmas is by far my favorite time of the year, but its also the most stressful for me. Getting gifts, school and church plays, projects to be made, and goodies to be baked. If we are not careful, it can really take the joy out of the holiday season. So, I decided that when I make cards, goodies, anything for that matter, that I would play Christmas music. Grab my son and dance around, sing the 12 days of Christmas with my daughter. It makes a huge difference in my life, when I take a few min between projects to really enjoy this time of year. Not to mention give some smooches underneath the mistletoe:)
I give my MIL (mother-in-law) all of the cards I make to send to her mother (OMA) in California. She loves them so much, that this year, I decided to make her box sets that she can send out. I made her a box set for Christmas, Birthdays, and Everyday. I made two of each Christmas cards using Jolly Holidays, DCWV Christmas Combo Stack, Stickles, and various ribbon from Michaels. For the tags, I used Lori's Garden and Kates Kitchen. All Sentiments are from Scrappy Moms Stamps Winter Wishes stamp set.
This is by far the best bow I have ever made :)
I decided to make one for my MIL as well. I threw on a candy cane when I was finished.
I hope you all take the time to enjoy this Holiday Season!

Welcome to The YOURSTORY Blog Hop!!!
Hi Friends and Welcome to The YOURSTORY Photo Blog Hop.
Thank you Sarah for asking me to be a part of yet another blog hop, using a wonderful product by ProvoCraft. I need to seriously buy stock in this company lol. I also want to personally thank ProvoCraft for the awesome Grand Prize...A Cuttlebug!
Im also very grateful to be doing a blog hop with some extremly talented ladies!!!!
I had my "non-crafty" friend buy a YourStory Photo so she could make pictures books of her son for her family. We both bought ours during the HSN launch. $1.00 a book just could not be beat! Speaking of HSN, YourStory Photo will be airing on HSN Dec 13 at 2am EST (that’s 1am CST and 12:00 MST).
So if you like the projects on the Blogs you visit today, watch, and make your purchase!
My friend wanted to make a recipe book for her friend, but she does not have a Cricut so I helped (I made the whole thing actually lol) her make one without the aid of any die-cutting machine. I know, I know, My poor Imagine just gave me sad eyes all day. But I did use my cuttlebug for the book cover. And Wow! It turned out so cute. For the cover I used Floral Fantasy Cuttlebug folder.
All paper used in this book is from Bo Bunny "Kitchen Spice"
Next I cut out 10 4x6 rectangles and inked up the edges.
I added some flowers and buttons just for a more personal touch. It really does not take much to make one of these books POP!
I added a cute sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps " A Pinch & A Dash"
As You can see, this book holds alot pages, and for recipes you can double side the pages.
I have more books planned out in my head for the holiday season. A First Year Book filled with photos of my sons first year. I think my sons family in California would love to see how he has grown up through photographs. The possibilities are endless with the YourStory Photo. Not to mention its cute and compact. It does not take up any space at all.
Blog Candy is a Pink Journey YourStory Kit. And dont forget the Grand Prize donated by ProvoCraft...A Cuttlebug. For my blog candy, just leave a comment, maybe tell me what you would do with your very own YourStory, become a follower if you like, and a way to contact you! And Happy Hopping! List of Blogs is posted below!!!!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #53
Hello Friends,
This week over at Cricut Cardz Challenge the DT was asked to Make a set (2 or more) of 3x3 Christmas gift cards, or a set (2 or more) of Christmas gift tags, using any cartridges or colors you’d like.
I made my first tag using Jolly Holidays. I used Ranger Watermark Resist and a darling sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Winter Wishes. A little Tim Holtz distress ink, stickles for his buttons, brads from Michaels, and some ribbon from Michaels as well. I ended up stitching around the whole tag.
For the second tag I used A Childs Year along with Ranger Watermark Resist. A sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Winter Wishes, A studio G snowflake stamp embossed with Kaledoscope embossing powder and some more Tim Holtz distressing ink.
These are the first tags I have ever done. I can't wait to make some more. Be sure to get your entries in at CCC and have a wonderful day everyone. Also I should have that BOW video up this week!
Have a Great Day,
Meriah

CCC #51
Hello Friends,
This post is long overdue, This is the first time I have sat down at the computer all week. I have been pinned down to the couch with my son all week. I dont mind at all. I do however feel completly behind and out of the crafting loop. My son came down with Pneumonia last Sunday, and has been running real high fevers for going on two weeks. Everytime I think his fever is broke it comes back. Poor little guy. Please keep him in your prayers and postive thoughts!
So onto the card, Make a card for Thanksgiving, using any cartridges you’d like and the colors Blue, Brown, Orange, Yellow and White ONLY.
I used Wrap it Up for the flourishy flower, and the card base is from Birthday Bash. I had something else totally planned out in my mind. But it came out looking like this. The tag is also from Wrap it Up. I was at a total loss on what to fill the up the empty spaces with. Buttons always work lol. Sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Charmed Life stamp set. Paper is from DCWV. I have recieved about 5 carts in the mail, and they have patiently sitting ontop of the Imagine. Im hoping I can dig into them this weekend and get back into the groove of things. Have a great weekend everyone. And be safe out there with the crazies on black friday...Im one of the crazies lol...

I would LOVE to make some of these for my granddaughter!!! I would be the coolest grandma around. I would love to see a video on how this is done there seems like a lot going on to do this and does your font have to be reversed when its printed? Such talented people on these hops. Thanks for sharing
To answer your question Mindy,
I have asked for a flip for xmas, so I will be doing videos shortly!! On some transfer sheets, yes you have to flip your images, I have noticed that you flip on the light transfer sheets. On the dark ones you just print out your image normal.
Hope this helps.
And thank you for being a twoscraptasticgals friend,

Second Ever Imagine Blog Hop.!!
Hello to all my crafty friends,
First I just want to say Thank You to my super duper friend Sarah for asking me to be part of the second Imagine Nation Blog Hop. I had so much fun with the first one, and just could not pass up being in this one!
You should be arriving here from my friend Paula's at More than Favors, Didn't you just love her charm bracelet? She is so Super Talented!
For todays project I wanted to make some shirts, using iron-on sheets and the Imagine. Its super cool that now we can take images off the Imagine or just phrases from our Expression carts and wear them proudly. I made my daughter a shirt using Rock Princess, and even added some bling with the i-Rock.
She came home from school and instantly put it on, She was so happy. Then she went through the Rock Princess cartridge and started asking for more shirts. I think Im gonna let her do it herself. She knows thats special, cause the Imagine is off limits :) The pattern on the Rock Chick is from the Better Together Imagine cartridge. You do have to have a Imagine cartridge in and a Expression cartridge in for you to color on the image. For now. I do see this being a gypsy update here soon :)
I do recommend that you get good quality Fabric Transfers like Avery or HP. Trust me on this lol! Speed at 2, pressure at 3, and blade depth at 2.
I also saw Emma from My Creative Time, made a cute little tote using Kates Kitchen, I just knew I needed to make one as well. For the tote, I used Lovely Floral Lite cartridge along with Imagine cartridge Better Together. Did you know that Lovely Floral has SCRAP QUEEN and PAPER DIVA? Im gonna make alot of shirts here in the future. Now I did not bling this tote up, and you will see why later in the post.
Blog Candy? Yep, The tote bag above and the apron down below. I'm gonna leave the blinging and embellishing up to you! So you can make it your own! Perfect items for crops. Become a follower if you wish, and leave a comment and a way to contact you. Random.org will choose a winner on Monday! Now on to Haidee at Created2bunique...where Im sure your gonna be WOW'd!!!
If you lost along the way here is order of the hop!
