This week Cricut Cardz Challenge Design Team #2 is showcasing their cards over at the CCC blog. For challenge #43, make a card for a new baby using any cartridges you'd like, and the colors green, orange, yellow and white ONLY. Be sure to head on over to the Cricut Cardz Challenge to check out all of the great inspiration for this challenge from the DT!
For this design team insperation card, I used the Wild Card cartridge for the basic circle shape card. The bottle and pacifier are from Simply Charmed (shadow feature), and the two circles in the middle are from George and Basic Shapes. All the paper is from My Minds Eye. I also added some I-Rock Jewels, and used a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Charmed Life set. This was a super fun challenge, makes you think outside the box. Traditional blues and pinks are fun, but this would be a perfect card for maybe twins, or for someone who doesnt know the gender of there little one. Happy First Day of Fall Ya'll!

Getting ready For Fall & Camera Tip.
Here in Oregon the leaves are already turning colors. Soon they will be dropping to the ground, giving us photographers are natural backdrop. If you want a more intense foliage or to make those leaves pop, I recommend getting a warming filter. Or turn the warming filter on in your camera settings. This will give your leaves a more intense orange or red.

Berry Special!
Yesterday the weather was a real downer. Ever knowtice when it rains it puts you in the mood for crafting. Well thats what I did. I made this card for Sarah (pink cricut) in hopes to cheer her up! Its super Bright and just gives you a warm feeling! Hope it brightens all of your days as well! Have a great day!
For this super cute card, I cut the strawberry from the Country Life CC, Made the card base from Wild Card CC, and Cut all my circles from George and Basic Shapes CC. The pattern paper is from Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety. I also brought out the I-Rock and added some gems. The super cute sentiment is from Pink By Designs (pink cricut) Country Living stamp set. The stamp is actually a long stamp, but to make it fit in my circle I taped over the words to make it fit. Inside the card I cut out two more shadow strawberries, and just added some stitching. Have a fantastic Day!

Fall Halo A LO by Wendi
Hi,
Meriah here, This morning when I woke up to let the dogs outside for the morning duties, it was foggy and misty. Made me realise that fall is right around the corner, the air just had that certain Autumn smell. I really do think this is my favorite season. I mean don't get me wrong, I love spring and summer and winter as well, but something about fall just pulls at my heartstrings a little more. Maybe it's the fact that Halloween is right around the corner? Then Thanksgiving, then Christmas. (time is going fast). Then I started thinking that all those trees in my front yard are gonna lose there leaves and I'm gonna be busy raking those little bothers up! Ok now I'm not so excited for fall lol. Anyhow, Wendi and I will be getting together this Saturday for a girl craft time. Ill be sure to take some pictures. So until then, Enjoy this beautiful LO by Wendi, and remember, Nature always gives us the best ideas when it comes to crafting, and the most beautiful backdrops for our photography!
