Mustache-O-Gram

Hello Friends,

Today over at the Pink By Design, design team blog, today is anything but a card Friday! We stayed true to the Birthday theme all week. Head on over there to see what the other girls made this week. Awesome stuff!

I wanted to share with you my tag I made for today.

The tag shape and mustache is from the silhouette store and the sentiment spots are from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I inked around all the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in antique linen. I used Pink By Design " Mustaches " and " Birthday, Birthday " sentiment stamps, stamped in Ranger Archival Ink in jet black. Paper is by MME " moments " 6x6 paper stack. Hemp twine, button, ribbon, and Recollections pearls to complete it. I think it turned out super cute!

Have a happy Friday friends, the weekend is FINALLY here!

Pink By Design Valentines Day Blog Hop

Hello Friends and Happy Valentines Day!

You should be arriving to my blog from the ever so talented Liz from www.217creations.blogspot.com...
But if you just happened to stumble across my blog and would like to start at the beginning of the blog hop, you will want to head over to my gal pal Sarah's blog at www.pinkcricut.com.

I have a couple Valentines Day cards to share with you today. One for my husband, and one for my daughter. Which reminds me I need to make one for my little boy.

For this card I used Pink By Design's " Love Always " stamp set, along with Fancy Pants Valentines Day pattern paper. The heart doily is from walmart that I picked up last year in the 75% holiday clearance section. The cute little cherub is from Victorian Romance Cricut cartridge. All other products are from my stash. This is my elegant card for my better half.

This adorable little card is for my Darling Daughter! I thought she would get a kick out of the cute little donut and donut hole. I paper pieced this adorable little image stamp, I just love paper piecing. Gives you a whole new approach on stamping.
For this card I used Pink By Design's " Love Alaways " stamp set and paired it with Pink By Design's " Sprinkles " image stamp set. The Sprinkles stamp set is a half pint set which means its half the size of a normal stamp set,  and at half the price of 7.99 its a super steal.
The new half pint stamp sets are my favorite new addition to Pink By Design. Paper is from MME Blush 6x6 stack. Twine is Devin Twine.  I stamp all my sentiments and images in Ranger archival jet black ink. It's my fav!

So there is some blog candy, I have the Pink By Design " Illuminate " stamp set up for grabs for one lucky comment. All you have to do is please subscribe to my emails, and leave a comment. Easy Peasy!
Random. org will choose a winner and I will post that winner on Saturday morning.

And don't forget the awesome Grand Prize for one lucky hopper! All you have to do is leave a comment on every blog to be entered to win.
Don't forget about the Pink by Design Valentine’s Day Sale! you can save 14% by using the coupon code: LOVE14

Wacky Wednesday and Update on Life

Wacky Wednesday at More Than Favors

Hello Friends,

It's been a while since I designed for my Bloggy BFF Paula over at More Than Favors, so when she asked me if I wanted to join in this week and help, I jumped on the opportunity! Last year I had 9 whole posts on my blog, FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR! That was an eye opener for me that I need to get back into the hobbies that I love.  2012 was a whirlwind of a year, I went back to work full time, was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer, had surgery, Cancer Free :), became a stay at home mom again, and well now, I'm Pregnant. I just couldn't seem to find balance with life, my family, and my hobbies. But I am feeling my mojo come back and I'm ready to craft again full speed! So hopefully 2013 I will have more than 9 posts. Thank you to Sarah ( Pink Cricut ) and Paula ( More than Favors ) for being so understanding on my design team commitments. They have been part of my support system and I love them so much!

So I will be posting for Paula more often, and you will see more designs for Pink By Design. Not to mention I'm going to go overboard on entering challenges. And who knows, maybe we will start up Cricut Cartridge Chaos again or something with our Cameos. We shall see, but I am excited!

So without further ado, here is my project for Wacky Wednesday at More Than Favors!

For this project I used Pink By Design Love Always stamp set, Cricut Cartridge Victorian Romance, Fancy Pants Valentines paper, and a heart doily I picked up on clearance at Wal-mart last year.  Other products are stuff from my stash. Card is a 5.5x5.5.

So this week the challenge is anything Valentines Day! And I sure would love it if you came on over and joined the challenge!  Just follow the link below, Ill see ya there :)

Pink By Design Challenge

Hello Friends,

Today over at the Pink By Design blog we have a fun little challenge for you. The challenge is to create a Valentine for a child. It can be a card or a treat holder of some sort.  My daughter being 13 is not really into Valentines anymore, I usually buy her a flower now. And if she is lucky a giant bag of Skittles. But I do have a son who enjoys little valentines now that he is almost 4. So I made him a couple cards for Valentines Day. One for his sister to give him and one from me. I did not put alot of time and energy into these because of his age. The cute little hogs are from Lettering Delights, and I used Pink By Design " Be Mine and Country Livn" for the sentiments. Super simple. I think you could easily mass produce these for children's classes. Even jazz them up a bit. Valentines at Target or Walmart will run ya about 4.00 a box. And it seems the amount they give you only qualifies half the class therefore making you buy two boxes. You could print these out for half that amount. The graphics at Lettering Delights only costed me 1.00 and I can use them forever! That's a steal if you ask me. Throw in a sentiment and you have homemade valentines that are sure to please.

I'd love it if you would come join in on our challenge. Of course there is a prize to be won. 10.00 Gift Certificate to Pink By Design!  Just follow the link! Hope to see you play along with us!
